Improving Service Visibility, Performance and Protection
The vast majority of the world's leading service providers rely on Arbor's Peakflow SP platform to proactively fend off malicious threats such as botnets and volumetric and application-layer DDoS attacks, while strengthening the availability and quality of their services.

Arbor's Peakflow SP platform includes two main components, Peakflow SP and the Threat Management System (TMS). The Peakflow SP platform automatically identifies over 90 IP-based applications and defines custom applications based upon network attributes such as IP address or range, BGP attributes, router interfaces and Active Threat Feed fingerprints.

Performance
The Peakflow SP platform also monitors key performance statistics such as jitter, latency, network round-trip times, delay and packet loss to help ensure that services are running as optimally as possible. Arbor then uses this data generated by the products to provide Hunan Mobile with reporting and alerting when significant performance change occurs.

Protection
The combination of Peakflow SP and the Threat Management System (TMS) offer a comprehensive DDoS threat detection, mitigation and reporting solution that can be deployed on the edge of mobile data centers allowing Hunan Mobile to protect their mobile services from both subscriber and Internet-sourced attacks.
