Amika Mobile announced that it has joined the Cisco Developer Network as a Cisco Registered Developer within the Unified Communications technology category. In addition, Amika Mobile's Amika Mobility Server (AMS) version 6.0 for critical and emergency alerting has successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco's Unified Communications Manager.
The Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers. As a Registered Developer, Amika Mobile offers a complementary product offering and is collaborating with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers. With offerings such as AMS, customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco network. About Amika Mobile Corporation:
Amika Mobile is privately held specializing in critical and emergency mass notification solutions. The AMS alerts over 16 layers including WiFi, SMS, Email, VoIP, PA systems, Message Boards, Twitter, RSS Feeds, Facebook, etc. The AMS can trigger alerts based on disparate sensor events from access control, fire panels, cameras, etc. AMS monitors local weather through CAP and CAP-CP, NAADS, NOAA, etc. Emergency and critical alerts are ideal for those concerned with public safety and security. Amika Mobile has won 12 awards and sells products through partners, and OEMs to service providers or platform vendors. See www.amikamobile.com or follow Amika Mobile on Twitter or Facebook.
(i) Interoperability testing is designed to simulate typical customer configurations, and does not replace the need for on-site testing in conjunction with actual implementation.
