SAN MATEO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/24/12 -- Serena Software, the leader in Orchestrated IT solutions, today announced the winners of its 'IT Agility Deserves a Beer' Twitter Haiku Contest. Launched in late August, Serena Software invited participants to give thanks to IT agility, a capability growing in popularity that allows a business to enhance its externally facing online systems faster than the competition.

To be part of the Serena contest that concluded on September 21, anyone on Twitter was invited to write and submit a haiku (17 syllables total, with three lines of 5-7-5 syllables) on how they would like to acknowledge or toast Agile IT. Entries were submitted via Twitter to @Serena_Software, and included the contest hash tag #GiveITaBeer.

Winners were selected based on creativity, humor and relevance. And the winners are:
