Launched less than two years ago, tibbr brings people, apps and data together in one secure social platform to get work done faster.

In addition to a set of advanced features, TIBCO announced the tibbr Enterprise Social Graph API that will now allow partners and app developers to build rich interactive social applications.

• tibbr Insights: Allows users to discover what's happening around them. tibbr Insights rethinks social analytics and delivers a rich personal experience relevant to you that lets you discover affinities, connections, posts and work activities.
• tibbr Enterprise Social Graph API: This API toolset allows developers to tap into the rich source of enterprise activity to build applications that leverage the social graph representing enterprise interactions across colleagues, partners, files, processes, events and activities.

Other new features include a refreshed mobile experience that brings a faster, crisper interface for the user and subject timeline, which provides a quick way to classify and organize relevant conversations based on subjects.

tibbr 4 is scheduled to be generally available by late November 2012.
