When the latest generation of the Jetta was launched in 2010, it signaled a dramatic change in direction for Volkswagen Canada. The vehicle was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of the Canadian driver. Larger inside, more stylish outside and full of the features our buyers have come to expect, the Jetta was available at a price that put it in the heart of the compact sedan segment. For the 2013 model year, Volkswagen Canada will make an even stronger value statement by adjusting standard equipment levels and pricing to make the Jetta more attractive than ever.

The 2013 Jetta is now available at a starting price of just $14,990, which is $885 less than the same model was priced at last year. The new pricing does not, however, translate to lower equipment levels. Instead, every Jetta comes complete with features designed to enhance the drive such as a height-adjustable, telescopic steering wheel; 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS and electronic stability control; a 60/40 split-folding rear seat; power door locks and windows; and a vehicle immobilizer theft-deterrent system.

2013 Jetta Trendline available from $14,990

Package includes: 15" steel wheels with full wheel covers, 60/40 split rear seat, AM/FM CD stereo with four speakers and auxiliary input, chrome interior trim, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and ESC, height adjustable and telescopic steering wheel, 5-speed manual transmission, power door locks, power windows.

2013 Jetta Trendline+ available from $16,690

Package includes all Trendline features and: Air conditioning, adjustable front centre armrest with storage, cruise control, heated front seats and washer nozzles, remote transmitters for central locking.

2013 Jetta Comfortline available from $19,590

Package includes all Trendline+ features and: 15" alloy wheels, rear centre armrest with cupholders and pass-through, alarm system, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, enhanced interior chrome trim, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, iPod connectivity, heated exterior mirrors, power sunroof.

The 2013 Jetta is also available with a range of engine options, including the TDI Clean Diesel, 2.5L inline 5-cylinder and a 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder. The lineup will also soon welcome a Hybrid model, which will feature the world's first turbocharged-hybrid powertrain.

Thanks to such a wide range of engines, trim levels and options, the Jetta has become one of the top selling vehicles in Canada.
