Simplifies Lead Capture and Follow-Up From iPads for Sales People

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/12 -- Red Funnel Consulting, creators of the FatStax 2.0 iPad sales app, today announced the launch of "App to Lead™" integration. The new feature allows companies to capture information on iPads directly into CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics including names, emails, phone numbers, and interest in specific products or services. The feature is included in all iPad sales apps built on the FatStax Platform at no additional cost to clients.

"This is the next evolution of apps for business; allowing businesses to couple a custom iPad app to legacy systems and sales processes," says Rusty Bishop, co-founder of Red Funnel. "The end users of FatStax are field sales reps with iPads. App to Lead makes their jobs a lot easier."

To debut the new feature, Red Funnel used FatStax at the 2012 Dreamforce conference to deliver prospects brochures with their iPads. That interaction was automatically synced to the company's marketing automation platform. Booth visitors then received an automated email to opt into further communication from the company. 18 percent responded positively prior to the end of the conference.
