Titled, "Moving, Managing and Analyzing Big Data," this hands-on lab will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the show.

What:
This lab will enable participants to understand how Hadoop can be used to solve "real-life" Big Data problems. Participants will gain hands-on experience with Map Reduce techniques and Hadoop technologies such as Pig and Hive. In addition, a live Hadoop cluster provisioned using Amazon's Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) service will be utilized to load and process a sample data set. Through this sample data set, users will get a live demonstration of how different pieces within the Hadoop ecosystem come together to provide value to the business user.
