NComputing, the leader in end-to-end desktop virtualization solutions, today announced it has joined the Imprivata Developers Program and also integrated its enterprise N-Series Thin Clients with Imprivata OneSign® No Click Access to deliver native, strong authentication and single sign-on for Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp.

With the integration, healthcare providers can now leverage "tap-in, tap-out" functionality using the NComputing N-series thin clients, roam securely between desktop locations, and access key applications and data in seconds using an ID badge rather than clicks and keyboards. The integrated solution will be demonstrated at Citrix Synergy Barcelona 2012, running Oct. 17-19, in the NComputing stand #202 and in the Imprivata stand #410.

Citrix server-based virtual infrastructures and Imprivata OneSign No Click Access are a strong fit in the healthcare market given stringent needs for security and compliance. A recent survey by Imprivata shows that more than 70% of respondents identified virtualized desktops as a core component of their IT strategy. Healthcare professionals must be able to access their personal desktops, applications, and data from multiple locations as they roam between different stations.
