WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 10/25/12 -- Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference - Ataccama Corporation announced today general availability (GA) and immediate shipment of version 8.0 of its integrated platform of Data Quality and Master Data Management software. This release includes a new Data Governance Portal, rounding out the suite of software solutions that provides customers with the needed tools to manage and improve data quality while supporting data governance policies and procedures.

The Data Governance Portal comprises two new offerings, Reference Data Manager (RDM) and Data Quality Dashboard (DQD), as well as an upgraded version of DQ Issue Tracker (DQIT).

RDM allows IT and business users to work together to manage all of an organization's important internal reference data in one centralized place and to facilitate consistent and complete distribution of data changes across all necessary systems. DQD provides managers with a customizable, accurate, real-time visual indication of the current state and quality of their organization's data in an easy to use web-based interface. By monitoring and responding to these trends organizations are better able to achieve meaningful ROI from data quality initiatives.
