MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/01/12 -- FireEye®, Inc., a leader in stopping advanced cyber attacks, today announced that it has formed an interoperability partnership with RSA, The Security Division of EMC. Under a new interoperability agreement, the RSA NetWitness® advanced threat network monitoring platform will leverage additional information on advanced cyber threats from the FireEye Malware Protection System so that joint customers can achieve faster time to remediation.
With the planned interoperability of the FireEye and RSA NetWitness solutions, joint customers will have greater visibility into the extent of previous network and system compromises and cyber attack tactics, and be able to take action to address similar cyber attacks that might occur in the future. This future integration will also help security analysts investigate and remediate the compromised end systems.
