SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/18/12 -- Slikk Inc. announces the launch of the world's first search browser, Slikk.com. Using patent-pending technology, Slikk enters the web search arena with the introduction of several revolutionary search features. Foremost among these is the SlikkBrowse feature, which allows the user to open and browse websites within the search page. Imagine you need to search for information on a promising startup company. With current search engines, you would do a search for the company, and then open search results in multiple browser tabs in order to see those webpages. With Slikk, all you have to do is click the "open" button next to any search result, and the webpage opens up right inside the search page next to the search results.

"Until today, searching the web often involved having to open multiple tabs or windows, switching back and forth between them and the search page until the desired information or site was found. No more," says Slikk CEO Feivi Arnstein. "Now, users can easily open the links right there side-by-side with the search results, instantly seeing whether that site is what they're looking for. The SlikkWindow can also be maximized and minimized, allowing the user to check out each search result in full or half screen, and if desired, use the SlikkWindow as a browser window. The SlikkWindows work across all categories, allowing one, for example, to load a video in one SlikkWindow and a news story in another.

Slikk also introduces its MultiView feature, which allows the user to search and view different types of search results on the screen simultaneously. For example, web results for a search can be viewed on the left side of the screen, and video results for the same search on the right side. The user can choose between web, image, video, news, blogs and Twitter results. Slikk also saves the current setting so that both categories are automatically searched and displayed upon subsequent searches.

Slikk also takes collecting and sharing the web to a new level by allowing users to instantly save multiple search results to a personal online collection on MySlikk.com. MySlikk collections can include any kind of web content, and like Slikk search results, can be browsed right inside the MySlikk page. The collections can then simply be shared by sending someone the collection URL.

Slikk further integrates with the social media world with the Shareit feature, which allows users to easily share search results by Twitter or Facebook.
