LEE, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/10/12 -- At a gala dinner that drew hundreds of government officials and industry executives to the Washington Convention Center on November 29, Government Security News (GSN) announced the winners -- including Wave Systems (NASDAQ: WAVX) -- in its 4th Annual Homeland Security Awards competition.

In the category of "Best Data Security/Loss Management Solution," GSN identified Wave Systems' Safend Data Protection Suite (DPS) as this year's winner.
