(Konica Minolta) today announces the launch of the bizhub® 754/654 Series of Monochrome Multifunctional Products (MFP -- print, copy, scan and fax all in one system). Combining high-speed B&W print and copy output with color scanning, the bizhub 754/654 Series features the award-winning INFO-Palette design control panel for enhanced versatility and a wide range of standard features for enhanced workplace performance.

Built for high-volume environments with B&W print/copy speeds up to 75 ppm (754) and 65 ppm (654), Konica Minolta's newest bizhub MFPs include Standard Dual Scanning at up to 180 originals per minute, as well as flexible paper handling to support oversized and heavy stock, and powerful finishing options for a wide range of output formats. Print functions offer greater flexibility including banner printing, Bluetooth printing from mobile phones, and printing from or saving to flash-memory devices via USB. This new series of monochrome MFPs also includes the Emperon® Print Controller 250GB HDD, four standard paper drawers offering 3,650-sheet capacity, and server-based authentication and account tracking capabilities via the PageScope Enterprise Suite.

An optimized power consumption mode can automatically set correct on/off/ standby status for workdays, weekends and holidays.

The bizhub 754/654 Series also includes Konica Minolta's exclusive Simitri® HD toner formulation that uses biomass plant-based materials to reduce environmental impact and fuse to paper at lower temperatures to reduce power consumption.
