DUBLIN, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/24/12 -- Epicor Software Corporation is hosting the largest global customer conference in the company's 40-year history, Insights 2012. Epicor expects to welcome more than 3,000 users of its enterprise resource planning (ERP), human capital management (HCM), and retail solutions to Caesars Palace Las Vegas, May 6-9. The global conference hosted by Epicor president and CEO Pervez Qureshi, represents the combination of the former Epicor® Perspectives and Activant Summit into a single event encompassing the entire business value chain -- from supply through to demand.

Peter Diamandis, chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation, will provide the Monday, May 7, keynote address on technology and how to spur innovation in your business. Diamandis is a key figure in the development of the personal spaceflight industry, and winner of the 2007 Arthur C. Clarke Award for Innovation, the 2006 (inaugural) Heinlein Award, the 2006 Lindbergh Award, the 2006 Wired RAVE Award, and the 2006 Neil Armstrong Award for Aerospace Achievement and Leadership. He has created many space-related organizations, including the X PRIZE Foundation, an educational nonprofit prize institute whose mission is "to create radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity."
