LONDON -- (Marketwire) -- 03/05/13 -- Responding to increasing international demand for its patented predictive IT analytics software, Netuitive today announced the appointment of Nick Pike as Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region.
Reporting directly to Netuitive CEO Nicola Sanna, Pike will lead Netuitive's expanding EMEA sales organization and partner development as it continues to add large enterprise customers.
Netuitive's software replaces human guess work with predictive analytics to help large, blue chip companies visualize, isolate and proactively address application performance issues before they impact the business.
Based in London, Pike will oversee EMEA business activity with a focus on driving revenue from the Global 2000, optimizing sales processes and maximizing partner relationships to streamline company execution. Pike will also work closely with Netuitive's Professional Services organization ensuring successful customer deployments and realizing value from Netuitive's open predictive IT analytics solutions as part of large scale application performance management (APM) initiatives.
Previously, Pike spent more than five years at ITRS where he led direct and indirect sales teams growing existing business and acquiring new accounts across EMEA and key global accounts. Here he helped define and validate an innovative and successful customer engagement methodology. In the ten years prior to this, Pike was in senior sales management and account sales positions with CA, Infor and HP where he led the opening of key strategic accounts and helped develop their EMEA operations. Pike holds an MBA from London Business School and a B.Eng in Engineering from the University of Bath.
"Nick Pike joins us at a very exciting time as the industry is embracing predictive IT analytics as the critical enabler for large scale application performance management," said Nicola Sanna, CEO of Netuitive. "Nick will play an important role in our overall growth and reinforcing our market position as a leader in predictive analytics. His previous experience will enhance and enforce our expanding Go to Market best practices currently being deployed at some of the world's largest telco, retail and financial services organizations."
Gartner recently published a strategic planning assumption forecasting that by 2015, 60% of Global 2000 enterprises will consider IT Operations Analytics a higher priority than APM, up from 20% in 2012.
Netuitive's predictive analytics software monitors, analyzes and correlates across silos, incorporating virtually any performance metric -- from customer experience, to IT systems, to business metrics -- into a holistic model of application performance. This enables large enterprises to easily understand how IT performance is impacting their business in real-time.
