IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/03/13 -- Solarflare, the leading provider of application-intelligent networking I/O, today announced that Bruce Tolley, vice president of solutions and outbound marketing, will speak at Ethernet Technology Summit to discuss the future of Ethernet networking and cloud computing.
Most discussions of clouds and virtualization focus on the northbound services, orchestration tools and policy management, and pay little attention to the underlying network infrastructure. To meet customer requirements, cloud solutions must scale in performance, protect data integrity, and support service level agreements, all while supporting the broad set of virtual cloud features. During his panel appearance, Tolley will discuss whether building a private, public, or hybrid cloud can deliver secure services at near-native application performance within minimal perceived latency.
