De Maertelaere will be tasked with managing the partner channel in the Belgium and the Netherlands regions, as well as helping partners and customers build and run solutions that are precisely matched to their business needs.

Prior to joining K2, De Maertelaere worked in international sales and pre-sales. Previously, he founded Capture Experts N.V., a consultancy focused on document capture solutions for companies including Securex, Center Parcs, Hospital Jules Bordet and Atlas Copco.

De Maertelaere brings to K2 more than 20 years of IT experience, in areas including computer-aided design, document imaging, business intelligence and business process management. He is also an expert in complex channel management, with a focus on business and technology.
