The EU has approved Tutus' VPN crypto, Farist Micro, for protecting EU classified information at the level EU RESTRICTED. The VPN crypto has been developed by Tutus in a joint project with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Swedish Armed Forces.

Farist Micro is an ultraportable VPN crypto that provides secure communication, making it possible for employees on the move to communicate in a secure way over public IP networks. The Micro is compatible with all other products within the Tutus Farist suite of network security solutions.

Within the Swedish Government and the EU administration the approved version of Farist Micro is known as the SIGRID MICRO and also PGAI 9421.
