Stein will lead the company's engineering team to more rapidly deliver innovative IT automation solutions designed for the cloud and virtualization era that enable enterprises to implement a DevOps approach to application delivery.

Prior to joining Puppet Labs, Stein most recently was VP of Engineering at Red Hat, where he built and led the worldwide engineering team delivering Red Hat's family of cloud products, including virtualization management, OpenStack, cloud orchestration and management (on-premise and in leading public clouds), Linux provisioning and management, JBoss middleware management, high-availability, clustering, certificate server, and directory server.
