SAN MATEO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/02/13 -- SnapLogic, the leader in enterprise cloud integration, today announced the appointment of Spencer Punter as chief financial officer. The appointment builds on SnapLogic's $20 million funding injection in late 2012, from Ignition Partners, Triangle Peak Partners and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz. Recent customer wins include Netflix, Best Buy, Fox News, Activision, ING Direct, Pandora and other companies.

Punter joined SnapLogic from Capital Dynamics, a leading global asset management firm, where he was managing director, head of US venture capital and responsible for oversight of the firm's West Coast office. Previously, he held venture capital investment positions with Bay Partners, Bowman Capital and Integral Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, he worked in the technology investment banking group at Morgan Stanley.

Punter was also co-founder and chief executive of ApexMD, a SaaS company focused on indexing healthcare professionals. A dual British and Canadian citizen, he holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Science (Engineering) from Harvard University.
