KING OF PRUSSIA, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/08/13 -- CI&T, a creator of smart applications that add a layer of intelligence to business, today announced that company co-founder Bruno Guicardi has been named president, North America. Guicardi's new role will support the company's rapidly expanding U.S. operations.

With CI&T's revenue growing by 25 percent last year, the company's U.S. customer base expanded exponentially and developed its own unique project requirements. Under Guicardi's leadership, the U.S. business will have the autonomy in operations to allow the team to be more responsive to customer needs and build solutions that answer their individual business problems.

As part of his entry into the U.S. market, Guicardi will present at upcoming industry events in May, touching on the growing role of Latin America as an outsourcing and innovation center, techniques to sustain change within organizations and best practices to improve customer engagement by incorporating intelligent application strategies.

With the rise of progressive technologies, including cloud, social, mobile and analytics, enterprises must not only develop applications for today's environment, but take them to the next level. Guicardi will provide use cases and suggestions for adding a layer of intelligence to the application development process to help companies better understand their customers and turn feedback into actionable business insight.
