PROVIDENCE, RI -- (Marketwired) -- 05/10/13 -- GreenBytes, Inc., a developer of full-featured virtual desktop optimization solutions that uniquely support existing infrastructure, today named Dan Beauregard as the company's Senior Director of Strategic Alliances. Beauregard joins GreenBytes from VMware where he served as Technical Director, Partners and Strategic Accounts. In his new role with GreenBytes, Beauregard is responsible for the development, management and implementation of GreenBytes' strategic partnerships, including OEM relationships.

Dan Beauregard joins GreenBytes from VMware/DynamicOps (DynamicOps was acquired by VMware in July 2012) where he built and managed an OEM relationship with Dell as well as developed a global channel presence that significantly broadened the market penetration of their leading Cloud Management Platform. Beauregard brings over 17 years of experience in designing, developing and selling solutions within the cloud, virtualization and infrastructure space. His versatile background across Business Development, Professional Services, Technical Sales and Development makes him uniquely qualified to bring to market strategic partnerships that utilize GreenBytes' patented technology to drive joint business solutions within the VDI space.
