FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/13 -- AMAX, a leading innovator of High Performance Computing (HPC), dynamic Enterprise IT, and custom Appliance Manufacturing solutions, today announced the immediate release of its latest, most advanced CPU-based computing solutions built upon the brand new Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 product family. This powerful new CPU architecture, code name Haswell, features improved CPU performance via Instruction Per Clock (IPC) gains, 256bit INT and FMA instructions, improved AES-NI performance, and takes full advantage of Intel's robust 22nm 3-D transistor technology, which consumes only half the power at the same performance level as 2-D transistors on 32nm process technology. The new AMAX platforms will usher in a new era of intelligent performance that dramatically increases performance and drives unparalleled power efficiency in datacenter and cloud computing environments.
The new server platforms will enable ISVs to package a powerful, highly-efficient and affordable OEM solution together with worldwide certifications and cutting edge software, while also empowering enterprises to radically reduce datacenter power, cooling and operational management costs, all while continuing to push the performance-per-watt envelope. AMAX's server solutions address these demands and tap into the power of the new Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 product family and platforms to deliver a new generation of performance, efficiency and advanced processor technology.
