The Georgia DOAS Surplus Property Division serves over 100 executive agencies and 35 colleges and universities using a virtual model for surplus management. In this model, the surplus property remains with the original entity until it is redistributed, sold, or disposed. The division manages over 5,000 transaction requests per year for over 38,000 items.
