Share One and Star's relationship flourished after Share One began testing Star printers with their software. Share One began recommending and installing Star's thermal printers when many of their customers decided to start replacing their dot matrix printers and transition to thermal printing technology.

In order to become certified with NewSolutions software, the TSP100 and TSP700II had to have the ability to be implemented across multiple Windows platforms and be Citrix compliant.
