Joel Garnick is a network manager for Grand Canyon University's IT department who, in recent years, has witnessed "explosive" network growth that required more sophisticated management. The university's infrastructure expanded from 50 devices and three racks of servers to approximately 300 devices, 1,200 servers, large virtualization farms and two data centers. With their previous product, Garnick said his IT team spent too much time trying to do what should have been simple activities and searching for buried solutions, and they didn't feel they were getting appropriate value for the cost.
