MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/23/13 -- Virident Systems Inc., the performance leader in flash-based storage-class memory (SCM) solutions, today announced the appointment of former EMC partner sales manager, Dawn Marie Ruszel, as the company's new senior director of worldwide channels. Ruszel brings more than 10 years of channel sales experience to Virident, where she will be responsible for building the Virident Channel Program and establishing a diversified partner ecosystem of committed and competent partners.

Before joining the Virident team, Ruszel spent eight years at EMC Corporation where she held several positions. The last position was national channel manager and partner team lead for the software division, where she was instrumental in building the Sales Accreditation Program and on-boarding and enabling the channel community. Before moving to the software side of EMC Ruszel was a regional channel manager for enterprise accounts, managing more than $100 million in resell business annually, and a delivery manager, managing a team of project managers. Ruszel won the Top Channel Manager award in 2009. Before joining EMC she was at Netscape Solutions, which was acquired by AOL and ultimately sold to Sun as iPlanet.
