ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/23/13 -- Cloud Sherpas is one of the top ten most significant providers of salesforce.com implementation services, according to "The Forrester Wave: Salesforce Implementation Services, Q2 2013", a report issued on June 18, 2013 by Forrester Research, Inc. Forrester screened dozens of providers that have built a name in the Salesforce space, and ultimately profiled 10 global providers. Cloud Sherpas received the highest score possible for Focus in the Strategy category, and scored a 4 out of 5 in the Client Satisfaction, Technology Acumen and Go-To-Market Strategy categories.
Forrester's 45-criteria evaluation of implementation services providers identified the 10 most significant implementation partners worldwide. The selection criteria included: at least $30 million in annual salesforce.com implementation related revenue; at least 200 designated implementation services employees/consultants; at least 40 Salesforce implementations in the past 12 months; global capabilities in salesforce.com implementation services across a wide range of industries and Salesforce domains in large enterprise deployments; and sufficient interest from the Forrester client base.
According to the report: "Cloud Sherpas is a newer name to the salesforce.com ecosystem, having rapidly expanded from its original roots as a leading Google partner to build a salesforce.com practice through aggressive acquisition of salesforce.com partners such as GlobalOne, CloudTrigger and Innoveer. Cloud Sherpas has a strong salesforce.com practice, especially in financial services... Cloud Sherpas heavily leverages assets based on its existing processes and industry expertise to drive faster, lower risk implementations."
According to the report, Cloud Sherpas is one of two vendors that has "established leadership in technology consulting as well as process expertise," and has an ability to bring these solutions to leading Fortune 500 organizations worldwide.
The firm, which got its start with CRM in 2007, offers advisory, implementation, integration and custom cloud development services to thousands of users in over a dozen countries. Cloud Sherpas employs more Salesforce certified technical architects than any other cloud services broker. Cloud Sherpas estimates its practice will grow more than 40 percent in 2013, with company revenues exceeding $120 million. Among the business unit's most impressive accomplishments of the past year are:
"We've built a practice that rivals the fastest-growing cloud services brokerages and system integrators in the world," said David Northington, CEO of Cloud Sherpas. "In the past year we've doubled headcount, dramatically expanded the scope of services, increased our presence in key geographic markets, and added hundreds of new customers. We are thrilled to be acknowledged by Forrester for what we believe is our success in this market and look forward to growing this business significantly, well into the future."
