SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/24/13 -- Today Chartio, an award-winning interface to data, announced the addition of two new data sources, the cloud warehouse services Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery. By connecting these services to Chartio, it is now possible for customers to visualize petabytes of data alongside their other real-time databases and data services, whether they're located in the cloud, on a server, or even a laptop.
For today only, July 24th, 2013, new customers can sign up and receive a free three-month trial to test out Chartio's Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery capabilities, which have been beta-tested and approved by Chartio's current customers.
"With an ever-increasing amount of data, we needed a combination of technologies that could grow with us. Chartio's ability to interface with Amazon Redshift has allowed us to analyze, visualize and deliver data in a way we didn't think was possible," said Martin Nemaric, data scientist at Plink.
Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery are both petabyte-scale cloud warehouse services built for the analysis of massive datasets. Combined with Chartio's ability to connect services like Salesforce and Google Analytics or databases like MySQL and Oracle, Chartio customers have the chance to explore all of their business data, whether it's in a cloud warehouse or a local server.
"Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery are splitting the warehousing component out of the traditional BI stack, allowing more freedom for customers and lowering vendor lock-in," said Dave Fowler, founder of Chartio. "We are excited to be able to support Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery and give our customers the option to connect their massive datasets to Chartio."
While many business intelligence platforms take months to implement, Chartio can take as little as an afternoon to set up and start building charts and dashboards. Chartio works as a cloud service you connect to your data, letting you build charts with its easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface or by writing your own queries in the language of your database.
