SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/14/13 -- LiquidPlanner, creators of the industry's only priority-based, predictive project management solution, today announced that it has launched integrations with Google Drive and Dropbox, allowing teams to easily collaborate on files stored on the industry's most widely-used document management services. Last year, LiquidPlanner released its inaugural third-party integration with Box, which more than 80% of the Fortune 500 use to access, share, and manage critical content in the cloud. Research analyst firms such as Forrester and Gartner have pointed to the importance of these types of third-party integrations as a core criteria for enterprise adoption of cloud-based project management solutions.
"Many enterprises have standardized on a cloud-based document sharing services like Google Drive and Dropbox. However, teams of different types still use specialized tools to manage their projects and tasks," said Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner. "With this latest release, LiquidPlanner now gives project teams more options for easily referencing -- not replicating -- files stored across the three most popular cloud-based file sharing platforms, all within a unified project management experience."
Adding files from Google Drive or Dropbox in a LiquidPlanner workspace can be done in a matter of seconds. Users simply need to click the "Add" dropdown button in the Document & Links section within a task and they'll be presented with the option to either upload a file from their hard drive or load a file from any of the three cloud-based file services. Integration with Google Drive and Dropbox is available immediately to LiquidPlanner customers at no additional charge. For more information, visit: www.liquidplanner.com.
