Brightlink Communications processes 7.5 to 8 billion voice minutes per year and monitors all of it, at all times. The company turned to Net Optics Director Pro because it needed a robust solution to handle the demands of soaring Internet and IP data. Director Pro enables Brightlink to filter signaling information from its network and send it directly to monitoring resources without having to send RTP streams, which would consume far more costly bandwidth and resources.

Another major advantage is Director Pro's ability to filter by specific network, allowing Brightlink to monitor calls from a certain carrier or customer by deploying Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) for a high degree of granularity and specificity. Using DPI, Director Pro can filter for desired IP information and send only that data to the monitoring tool for examination.
