NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 09/11/13 -- Elance, the leading online work platform, today announced today that CEO Fabio Rosati will participate in The Economist's fourth annual Human Potential conference on September 18th at 1:30 pm at the Alexandria Center in New York City. The event will focus on addressing the challenges associated with attracting the best talent and keeping up with ever-changing business models -- and technology. Rosati will participate in a panel discussion alongside Sara Horowitz, Founder and Executive Director of the Freelancer's Union and Roger Friedman, President of the Blogger Network at The Motley Fool. The panel will take an in-depth look at how enterprises are implementing hybrid staffing models by hiring freelancers, and how freelancers are adapting to this new model of work.
Human Potential 2013 is designed for chief human resources officers and senior executives responsible for people operations, talent development, innovation and strategy -- across industries and sectors. Among the issues attendees will explore through a variety of formats at the event are the new meaning of "diversity," how to build adaptive organizations, big data and human resources, among others.
"Companies are facing many challenges to create a more diverse, productive adaptable, and engaged workforce," said Matthew Bishop, US business editor and New York bureau chief for The Economist. "At the Human Potential 2013 conference we will have a full day of stimulating, interactive discussion and debate, to explore current trends and provide practical advice for navigating a new era of talent management."
Lumina Foundation is the platinum sponsor of the Human Potential Forum. Elance is the silver sponsor, InnoCentive is the challenge partner, and Human Capital Institute is the supporting association.
