OSHAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/13 -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 18,270 vehicles in September 2013. Total GM sales were down 2.6 per cent for the month. On a selling-day adjusted basis, total GM sales were up 6 per cent and retail sales were up 8 per cent for the month.

"Representing the 10th generation of one of the industry's most enduring and popular nameplates, the Oshawa-built Impala has experienced a more than 35 per cent increase in retail sales for the year."

Eligible lessees who accept delivery of a new 2014 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or 2013 or 2014 Cadillac vehicle, will receive the benefit of $0 First Month Payment, $0 due at signing and $0 Security Deposit, all of this is accomplished through GM Canada's captive financing company, GM Financial.

September 2013 Sales Highlights

--  Chevrolet Sonic sales increased 18 per cent for the month 
    
--  Buick sales increased 12 per cent driven by the all-new Buick Encore, a
    2013 IIHS Top Safety Pick 
    
--  Cadillac sales increased year over year for the 12th consecutive month
    with an increase of 93 per cent in September driven by the SRX, which
    had an 88 per cent increase in sales for the month
