(NASDAQ: FEYE), the leader in stopping today's advanced cyber attacks, announced FireEye® Mobile Threat Prevention™, a new cloud-based platform designed to address threats from the mobile vector. The new product, which secures the Android™ platform, will be generally available by the end of 2013.

According to Google, more than 1 million Android apps are currently available for download and they have been downloaded more than 50 billion times to more than 1 billion devices. The diverse sources of these apps pose security and privacy risks.
