The new Storageflex software offers seamless storage management when combined with the popular Storageflex™ 3945N SAN NAS hybrid storage appliance or when residing on a Windows server platform of any brand with an industry standard NTFS file system. Key software features include:

Storgeflex AutoStor technology provides astounding retention management capabilities with simplified policy creation processes to move specific data sets - at pre-determined time intervals - from a primary storage device to various other high-capacity near-line or remote storage media, such as RDX or SATA RAID. This ensures that the original storage server or appliance never runs out of capacity. Additionally, in the event of data loss, a disaster recovery (DR) infrastructure is also in place.

Multiple retention periods can also be produced to support different data sets to meet a wide range of compliance needs for data migration to more cost-effective storage archive platforms, including tape, optical, RDX and cloud-based storage technologies.
