SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/21/13 -- Roambi, the business app that redesigns the way the world experiences data, today announced the next generation of its award-winning analytics platform, Roambi Analytics 7. Embracing the elegant and powerful design concepts of Apple's iOS 7, Roambi Analytics 7 transforms data into a simple, engaging and intuitive experience. As part of Analytics 7, Roambi is also introducing the Roambi Card View, a mobile dashboard that connects metrics from any data source into one simple, customizable display. Today's news represents Roambi's latest efforts in combining the power of cloud computing, big data, mobility and design to create data experiences that illuminate important issues and deliver key insights.
"Since its inception, Roambi has been an innovator in mobile design, and with the launch of Roambi Analytics 7 they continue to be one step ahead," said Tony Cosentino, VP & Research Director, Business Analytics, Ventana Research. "A lot of updates and a new look and feel takes advantage of the modernization of iOS 7, while the flow and usability aspects put even more power in the hands of the users."
Roambi Analytics 7 is a complete redesign of the entire Roambi experience. In line with iOS 7, which has removed unnecessary graphics in favor of "flat" design, Roambi Analytics 7 places content center stage. The result is a stunning new version of the Roambi experience: data and functionality that meld seamlessly from view-to-view and feature-to-feature, all within the beautiful designs that Roambi is known for. To learn more about the process behind the redesign of Roambi Analytics 7, read today's post on Roambi' Bringing Data to Life blog.
Roambi is also introducing Roambi Card View, a comprehensive display that reinvents the mobile data dashboard, setting a new industry standard. Roambi Card View provides an interactive dashboard, a customizable layout and new ways to view data, including waterfall charts, scatter plots, bubble charts, data tables and single metric values. The Card View provides the flexibility to create a dynamic management center for any set of business metrics.
In addition to an improved flow of data and functionality, Roambi Analytics 7 contains new features that further the goal of making data accessible, fun to use, and easy to present and consume. The redesigned "Manager" takes a visual approach to report navigation and a streamlined "View Bar" provides a single location for all the tools customers need for managing data, including sorting, filtering, hiding columns, adjusting thresholds and more.
"From the start we were completely in awe of the look and feel of the first iPhone and made a risky move to launch a business app for iOS devices. Apple's platform proved to be the perfect partner for Roambi's goals: combining the power of mobility, big data and design to help organizations understand their data and share their stories," said Quinton Alsbury, co-founder and president of product innovation for Roambi. "Roambi Analytics 7 is our best effort yet to deliver data in a way that is simple, beautiful and most importantly, a powerful business asset."
