SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/24/13 -- Midokura, a global startup focused on network virtualization, today announced the appointment of Jim Lenox as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Lenox will be responsible for driving global sales and operations for one of the fastest growing network virtualization companies in the world.

Lenox has more than 20 years of experience helping technology firms reach their full potential. Prior to joining Midokura, he spent 13 years at VMware and was instrumental in leading the build-out of VMware's worldwide field operations. Prior to VMware, Lenox held leadership and managerial roles at several high tech companies involved in software, communications and aerospace. Lenox also served as an officer in the United States Air Force for six years. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University.
