Intel Network Builders ecosystem partner Wipro has created a solution to enhance end user experience by leveraging the MEC APIs that enable QoE (Quality of Experience) awareness for applications. The solution leverages this QoE information to dynamically tune the application session to maximize user experience. In this presentation, Wipro will provide an overview of this solution with an example application for Remote classroom. The Remote Classroom Solution (RCS) offers live classroom interaction over live and multimedia contents into an engaging and personalized educational experience. RCS is designed to mimic the engaging experience of live classroom learning for remote students and enhances traditional teaching methods through real-time content augmentation and annotation. The solution aims at reducing the digital divide by making immersive educational content accessibility to remote students, that becomes very relevant in situations like a pandemic. With numerous teaching aids available, the solution can be customized to cater to the different learning needs of students. Wipro’s RCS leverages the Open Network Edge Services Software (OpenNESS) and Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit for real-time media analytics on a live 360-degree/planar stream.
