The Rotterdam District Court recently passed judgment in a case concerning the application of legal professional privilege to in-house counsel.  The judgment provides a welcome clarification of the position under Dutch law regarding LPP for in-house lawyers and has important implications for the topic more broadly.  Please join us on March 10 at 3pm CET for a webinar roundtable inspired by this case.  We will be joined by several lawyers from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, who assisted ECLA in preparing an amicus curiae brief for the Rotterdam District Court case.  The webinar will feature a reminder of the LPP rules in several fora (including UK and US civil litigation, and during EU Commission antitrust investigations), the relevance of the recent Shell judgment, and a practical discussion of the challenges faced by in-house counsel in maximising LPP protection.
