Introducing Revolution R Open: Enhanced, Open Source R distribution from Revolution Analytics - Seguridad Mania.com - España y América Latina

In this webinar we will be discussing the new R distribution from Revolution Analytics. Revolution R Open is a downstream distribution of R from the R Foundation, and includes additional features focused on performance and reproducibility of R scripts.

Revolution R Open is designed to work with other open source packages and frameworks:

    The Reproducible R Toolkit, for reliable, repeatable results from R code
    DeployR Open, the application-developer's framework for simple, secure deployment of R
    ParallelR, the toolkit for parallel programming in R
    RHadoop, for map-reduce programming in R on Hadoop clusters

We will also introduce Revolution R Plus, which offers technical support and open source assurance for all of the components above.
About the Speakers:
 David Smith leads the open source solutions group at Revolution Analytics. With a background in data science, he writes daily about applications of R and predictive analytics at the Revolutions blog, and was named a top 10 influencer on the topic of “Big Data” by Forbes. He is the co-author (with Bill Venables) of R’s tutorial manual "An Introduction to R", and was one of the originating developers of the ESS (Emacs Speaks Statistics) project. Prior to joining Revolution Analytics, David was the director of product management for S-PLUS at Insightful, Inc.
