In May of 2015 we are bringing our members and advertisers together to enhance knowledge about problems and solutions to increasingly a regular and often thorny problems in the industry. 

 

PLM migration issues permeate all organizations and include issues with upgrades, integrating new projects/divisions/acquisitions, legacy migration, LOTAR, and more. 

 

We're bringing together experienced users as well as a handful of vendors who provide products and services for migration issues for Roundtable discussion. On this webinar you will hear from project-field-tested users and vendors. 

 

This is not a commercial pitch even if several vendors will be on the line. This is an opportunity to share problems, solutions and real case studies.

 

We would like to get a rough idea about your knowledge and firsthand experience with CAD/PLM data translation/migration activities. To clarify, by translation/migration we do not mean simply opening a file in another brand’s file format. Instead we want to know about how you change the format of an entire design or project, perhaps in conjunction with the migration from one primary brand of software to another. 

 

Additionally, we would like to know how you are handling data exchange between primary engineering environments and non-engineering tools like ERP or even documentation systems. 

 

Finally, we’d like to know how you are handling the dissemination of information from any of the above systems to various users inside and outside your organization and throughout your supply chain.
