Some of this states that SIAM is nothing new, whilst some claims that SIAM is a separate discipline from previous best practice in ITSM. The number of SIAM ‘experts’ is rapidly rising, and new qualifications are starting to appear. This session will attempt to put some of the myths to bed, based on practical experiences of designing and operating SIAM for real , with insights into the drivers behind adopting and adapting traditional approaches to ITSM.
