What’s wrong with this picture? We think in terms of rigid processes because we’ve been taught that they give us more predictability. We focus on IT service management from a provider’s perspective because we’re IT service providers. We work in silos because they give managers the illusion of importance and control. Slowly but surely, people seem to be realizing that it’s time for a radial rethink. All too often, we look at new things in old ways and are disappointed, rather than attempting to look at old things in new ways. But what constitutes “new ways”? This webinar explores topics such as complex adaptive systems, service-dominant logic, the overhyped but valuable DevOps movement and the value of values in encouraging people to change their ways.
