About the Presenter Carl Fugate has more than 15 years of operational experience in the Telecom and Managed Service Provider industry. He is currently the Principle Architect in the Capgemini Infrastructure Services Backbone group responsible for securely interconnecting clients to both Public and Private cloud offerings with SDN and NFV. His operations background brings a unique perspective to Network Architecture enabling him to develop real world solutions while integrating new advancements in technology. He has consulted with clients in numerous industries including Food Processing, Retail Services, Pharma & Life Sciences, Consumer Products and Government (State/Defense Contractors). Carl is an active member of the Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) Infrastructure Work Group.
