Building a Global Carbon Reporting System With Microsoft Office 365

Every large corporate is looking at how to manage their carbon data and select from the mix of technologies and systems out there. You may have already bought or be thinking of buying systems to help. But, is it possible that you already have everything you need in-house with Microsoft 365 and its Power Platform? The presenters will talk about how they decided to move away from a commercial solution to rolling out their own, and why; how this system has helped with carrying out audits; and what they might do in the future to expand and improve their carbon reporting and management. Karthik Suresh, Management Consultant, Ameresco Karthik is a Management Consultant at Ameresco, a leading provider of energy and sustainability solutions, and works with a range of large national and international organisations to identify pathways to Net Zero transitions and develop the Information Systems and associated technologies that are a best fit for their operations. Over the last three years he has been involved in the development of a number of customised solutions using Office 365 products to put in place reliable, quick and lean data management and reporting systems for energy and emissions management.
