The energy sector is central to efforts to combat climate change. However, this industry is facing a continuous increase in system complexity and constraints. In the meantime, system engineers must reduce costs, maximize the system performance, and improve the product's safety simultaneously, which sounds like an impossible dilemma.

The recent development of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) facilitates the transfer of models between the actors involved. Ansys ModelCenter enables MBSE by allowing engineers to connect any engineering analysis or software application to the systems model.

This allows engineers to validate requirements, simulate system behavior, and carry out Multi-Disciplinary Analysis & Optimization (MDAO) to optimize the system design at any time during the design process. This shortens development time, reduces errors, and produces better, less expensive products.

Learn how to connect your analytical models to your system model using Ansys ModelCenter, to make better-informed decisions very early in the design process of your new system. We'll discuss concrete application examples, such as a nuclear reactor used to generate hydrogen and the tokamak device, to facilitate the understanding of the solution proposed by Ansys in this field. We will conclude the event with an interactive Q&A session.

What you will learn

- Learn how to document and communicate system requirements
- Learn how to bridge the gap between descriptive and analytical models using ModelCenter
- Learn how to validate your requirements early in the development phase
- Learn how to ensure a great traceability throughout the development process of your new system
- Learn how to use this framework to carry out MDAO studies
