Journey to Automate the Business of Communications

Join the leaders from some of the largest international carriers as they present how the industry plans to transform the business of communications by automating the settlement of traffic using Distributed Ledger Technologies. In June 2019, the ITW Global Leaders’ Forum announced a project to develop a DLT-based platform, which will revolutionise the ICT Service Provider industry’s commercial settlement infrastructure. This represents an opportunity worth billions to the global industry from costs savings and revenues from new products and services. Since then, over 20 carriers and technology providers have worked together to develop the technical architecture and governance framework for the platform, which will be presented during the webinar. Senior representatives from the project’s founding carriers and from the participating technology providers, are ready to share their insights in a one-hour interactive webinar. You will: • Learn how leading carriers and technology providers have collaborated to create an inclusive and interoperable framework for automated inter-ICT Service Provider settlement • Understand exactly what the development of this platform means for the industry • Look to the future: how the ecosystem can evolve to facilitate new services such as NB-IoT, VoLTE, etc. • How you can participate: any ICT Service Provider, Technology Provider or Industry Association is invited to join and we will discuss the benefits of being a part and contributing to this ecosystem.
